Child safety standards

Zero tolerance

Voiid has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behaviour that sexualises or endangers minors.

This applies to every part of Voiid: profiles, communities, public posts, Clips, comments, events and messages.

What is prohibited

• Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to CSAM, including AI-generated or illustrated material that depicts minors in a sexual way.

• Grooming, sexual solicitation or sexual communication directed at a minor.

• Sextortion or coercing a minor into sending sexual content.

• Using Voiid to arrange or advertise the abuse, trafficking or exploitation of children.

• Communities, accounts or events whose purpose is any of the above.

How to report

Every public post, comment, community and account has a Report option in the app. Choose the child-safety reason and our moderators review it. You can also block anyone, which takes effect immediately on your device.

You can also email [email protected] with the subject “Child safety”. Include the account name or link where you can. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How we respond

Reports of CSAE are prioritised and reviewed by our moderators. Content that breaks these standards is removed, the account that posted it is suspended or permanently closed, and the device and phone number are barred from returning.

Where required by law, we report CSAE content and the accounts involved to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian law-enforcement and child-protection agencies, and we preserve the evidence they need.

We cooperate with valid legal requests from law enforcement and child-protection bodies.

Private messages

Voiid’s one-to-one and group messages are end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot read them. Our controls there depend on people: you can report an account or a message you received, and we act on the account. We act on public content directly.

Minors on Voiid

Voiid is not intended for children under the minimum age set out in our Terms of Use. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under that age, we may restrict or close it.
